In June 2007 Ruukki Group Plc's board nominated Matti Vikkula the CEO of Ruukki Group Plc. He will start as CEO on 1 September 2007. At the same time his post as member and Chairman of the Board will end. As a result of the change, Ruukki Group Plc's board has today nominated KTT Matti Lainema the Chairman of the Board. Kai Mäkelä will continue as the Vice Chairman of the Board. As announced before, present CEO Antti Kivimaa will continue as CEO's deputy as well as will be responsible for the main Ruukki Group operations in Finland, the development of their ownership values and possible exit projects.
