On turnover of Apranga Group in August 2007 - new turnover records reached


The retail turnover of the leader of retail apparel market in Lithuania and the
Baltic States Apranga Group has reached LTL 41.3 million (EUR 12.0 million) in
August 2007, increasing by 39.5% in comparison to August 2006. The turnover of
Apranga Group chain has exceeded LTL 40 million (EUR 11.6 million). It is worth
to mention that Apranga Group has reached absolutely best sales results in all
three - Lithuanian, Latvian, and Estonian - markets. 

The biggest increase of chain turnover of Apranga Group in August 2007 was in
Latvia - 61.4%. Retail turnover in Latvia was LTL 10.4 million (EUR 3.0
million) and has exceeded LTL 10 million (EUR 2.9 million) for the first time. 

The turnover of Apranga Group retail chain has made LTL 260.5 million (EUR 75.5
million) in January through August 2007, or by 51.5% more than in corresponding
period of last year. 

In first eight months of 2007 the retail chain turnover was LTL 173.2 million
(EUR 50.2 million) in Lithuania, increasing by 53.9%, LTL 63.4 million (EUR
18.4 million) in Latvia, increasing by 49.1%, and LTL 23.9 million (EUR 6.9
million) in Estonia, increasing by 41.8%. 

Apranga Group has already opened or reconstructed 23 stores, 6 closed in 2007.

Currently Apranga Group runs chain of 79 stores with total sales area of 48.5
thousand sq. m. 

Apranga Group is owned by the concern MG Baltic.
