NetManage Products Ready for Microsoft Vista

RUMBA and OnWeb Web-to-Host Solutions Earn Microsoft Works With Windows Vista Software Logo

CUPERTINO, Calif., Sept. 4, 2007 (PRIME NEWSWIRE) -- NetManage, Inc. (Nasdaq:NETM), a software company that provides the fastest way to transform legacy applications into new Web-based business solutions, today announced that both the RUMBA and OnWeb Web-to-Host products have achieved the Works with Vista designation, ensuring that the product is compatible with the latest Microsoft operating system. The certification allows the NetManage products to use the Works with Vista software logo.

Earning the Works with Vista designation, the RUMBA and OnWeb Web-to-Host solutions are verified for compatibility with the new Windows operating system, as they have been officially screened and authorized by Microsoft. Companies that undertake the migration to Vista will have the reassurance of the full functionality of their existing NetManage products without the need for separate testing.

"Microsoft is pleased that NetManage has earned the Works with Windows Vista software logo for their RUMBA and OnWeb Web-to-Host applications," said Dave Wascha, director of Windows Client Partner Marketing Group at Microsoft Corporation. "This highlights NetManage's commitment to providing its customers with applications that are fully compatible with Windows Vista and deliver an improved experience on the new operating system."

OnWeb Web-to-Host enables business users to work productively with host-based information within Internet Explorer 7 on Vista providing all the core functionality of a Windows-based emulator without a large footprint on the desktop.

"NetManage is committed to staying abreast of advances in operating system technology in order to provide consistent service to our end-users," said Zvi Alon, chairman, president and CEO of NetManage.
