Summit Business Media Appoints Andrew Goodenough as President


NEW YORK, Sept. 4, 2007 (PRIME NEWSWIRE) -- William F. Reilly, Chairman and CEO of Summit Business Media, announced the appointment of Andrew L. Goodenough as President of Summit Business Media, effective September 1, 2007.

"Andy has done a wonderful job in the initial stages of our buildup, which is currently on plan," said Reilly. "In addition to continuing to lead the growth of our Highline Business Media unit, he was the driving force behind our acquisition of Wicks Business Information, completed in July and now a part of Highline. In his new role, he will be operating head of the entire Company, which currently includes the Pfingsten Publishing and Highline operations acquired last fall. Andy is also leading a number of conversations with additional acquisition candidates."

Mr. Reilly, the largest individual shareholder of Summit, continues to hold the position of Chairman and CEO. The CFO, Thomas M. Flynn, will report to Mr. Reilly with dotted line to Mr. Goodenough. All other executives will report to Mr. Goodenough. Although his responsibilities may change, Joe Bennett, former president of Pfingsten Publishing and SB Media LLC, will continue his role in helping to grow the company and create value.
