About the author
Dr. Kuny Suzuki was born in Tokyo in 1942. At the age of 18, he suffered from a disease called multiple articular rheumatism. The prescriptions for this intractable disease caused him to suffer from many iatrogenic diseases, thereby causing him to have to fight against these diseases for the larger part of his youth. During this period, he was determined to become a medical doctor to relieve pain and restore the healthy body without the use of drugs. After graduating from Chuo University, he received private lessons from the chairman of the Acupressure Digital Therapy Association of Japan, and prepared to move to the United States.
Dr. Suzuki moved to the United States in 1972 and graduated from Sawyer College. He went on to receive a B.A., M.A., and Ph.D. in Oriental medicine from the Yuin Oriental Medical University. During this latter period, Dr. Suzuki opened the Oriental Medicine Pain Clinic in Los Angeles, and has been practicing this holistic medicine ever since. Through his independent research, Dr. Suzuki was able to make extraordinary findings about the functionality of the human sacrum, which incidentally has become the key aspect to his unique therapy methods.
