EVOX RIFA GROUP OYJ PRESS RELEASE 7 September 2007 at 1:30 pm EVOX RIFA GROUP OYJ EXEMPTED FROM THE OBLIGATION TO PUBLISH AN INTERIM REPORT FOR THE PERIOD 1 JANUARY - 30 SEPTEMBER 2007 The Finnish Financial Supervision Authority has granted Evox Rifa Group Oyj ("Evox") an exemption from the obligation to publish an interim report for the period 1 January - 30 September 2007 pursuant to Chapter 2, Section 11 of the Finnish Securities Market Act. KEMET Electronics Corporation ("KEMET") has on 3 September 2007 gained title to all minority shares in Evox in redemption proceedings under Chapter 18 of the Finnish Companies Act. The listing of Evox shares on OMX Nordic Exchange Helsinki Plc was terminated on 3 September 2007. In its decision, the Financial Supervision Authority has, among other things, taken into account that in the redemption proceedings under Chapter 18 of the Finnish Companies Act, the redemption price is determined based on the fair price during the period preceding the initiation of the arbitral proceedings. The arbitral proceedings were initiated on 29 May 2007. Evox has published an interim report for the period 1 January - 30 June 2007. As the arbitration proceedings were initiated during said time period, the exemption cannot, according to the decision of the Financial Supervision Authority, be considered to endanger the position of investors.
