New CEO of Eimskip's operations in Iceland

Gudmundur Davidsson has been appointed CEO of Eimskip in Iceland following
organizational changes. Eimskip's North-Atlantic division has been parted into
two divisions due to substantial growth recently. From now on Iceland is thus a
special division of Eimskip.

Gudmundur Davidsson has been appointed CEO of Iceland, while Bragi Thor
Marinosson will be the CEO of North-Atlantic.

Baldur Gudnason, CEO of Hf. Eimskipafelag Islands: “Eimskip has grown
significantly in a short period of time. The turnover of the company has
increased by approximately 10 times the last three years. Eimskip currently
operates in over 30 countries and employs around 14,500 people, compared with
1,200 people three years ago. These changes emphasize the importance of
Eimskip's operation in Iceland and they will further strengthen the good
relationship Eimskip has with its customers.”

The CEO of Eimskip Iceland will focus on operating and developing the daily
operations in the country, as it is a very import part of the company.

The CEO of North-Atlantic will focus on further development of the business in
that area, especially in the Faroe Islands and Norway. Eimskip is one of the
biggest companies in the Faroe Islands with approximately 500 employees. In
Norway Eimskip specializes in transportation and storage of frozen and chilled
seafood and its extensive service network enables Eimskip to offer the seafood
industry comprehensive service, from landing and storage of marine products to
transport of these products to the final purchaser, together with related
services.
