HealthSport Develops Children's Strips to Combat Dehydration

Company Adds Children's Product to its Edible Electrolyte Strip Product Offerings

AMHERST, N.Y., Sept. 10, 2007 (PRIME NEWSWIRE) -- HealthSport, Inc. (OTCBB:HSPO) announced today its planned launch of PediaStrips(tm) (http://www.pediastrips.com), an edible electrolyte strip developed to combat children's dehydration due to illness. PediaStrips is the latest offering to join the Enlyten(tm) family of products.

PediaStrips are specifically formulated for children to quickly replenish electrolytes and aid in fluid retention. PediaStrips are a safe and effective product that replaces lost electrolytes associated with symptoms of flu, diarrhea, vomiting or extreme climates. PediaStrips will be available online and through retail distribution as of the November 1st launch date. Each fast delivery cassette will hold 18 strips and will be available in Grape, Orange and Berry flavor.

PediaStrips are best used when they are placed between the cheek and gum. This enables the electrolytes to be absorbed quickly and directly into the body since the process bypasses gastric absorption. Studies have shown that the quicker delivery of electrolytes in the body decreases exercise-induced cramping. In addition, PediaStrips have no calories, sugars or carbohydrates, making them an attractive choice for parents who are concerned about adding sugar to their children's diet.

"We are excited to have a children's product that helps avoid dehydration," said Dan Kelly, President of HealthSport. "All too often you hear of children being hospitalized for symptoms of dehydration after having the flu and we feel it is so important for parents to have a product that offers relief from this problem. The PediaStrips delivery system ensures that children will get the proper nutrients in a fast and efficient manner without the added sugars and liquids they may not need, while avoiding the hassles of measuring the right amount of liquids. Those of us whose children have had the flu know just how difficult it is to give children what they need without a fight, and PediaStrips will certainly help win that battle. I know it has with my children."
