- New CEO of the coldstorages operation of Eimskip in America


Brent Sugden, Versacold´s CEO has been appointed CEO of the coldstorage
operation of Eimskip in America following organizational changes. Both
Versacold and Atlas Cold Storage, which operate approximately 120 coldstorages
form this division. Reynir Gíslason, which has been the CEO of Eimskip's
operation in Americas since July 2006 and the CEO of Atlas since November 2006
will continue to be the CEO of operations other than coldstorage in America. 

Brent Sugden has vast experience in operating coldstorages and he has been the
CEO of Versacold for the last six years. Brendt has managed Versacold
successfully as Versacold has grown substantially in a competitive market
environment. 

Eimskip has grown enourmously in North America with acquisition in the last
year and therefore the Americas division has been parted into two divisions.
These changes will strengthen Eimskip transportation services internationally.
Eimskip operates approximately 120 coldstores and employes approximately 8,500
people in Americas. Additionally Eimskip has recently started liner service on
the East coast of the U.S. and Canada. 

Reynir Gíslason, who was appointed the CEO of Atlas temporarily, has lead the
company through great changes and improved the operation substantially. Now
that Eimskip has acquired Versacold emphasis will be put on combining further
the operation of these two companies to gain further improvement of the
operations.
