Anders Karlsson COO for AbSorber

LinkMed's portfolio company AbSorber is pleased to announce the appointment of
Anders Karlsson as Chief Operating Officer (COO). Karlsson joins AbSorber from
Novartis, where he was CEO for the company's operations in Norway. He has
earlier also been Director of Sales for the transplantation business area at
Sandoz.

“AbSorber needs a commercially orientated organization that supports the
company's growth and sales of XM-ONE as they start to accelerate. We are
therefore delighted to appoint Anders Karlsson, who has extensive knowledge of
the transplantation industry and is an experienced company leader, to this newly
established position,” says Ingemar Lagerlöf, CEO of LinkMed and AbSorber.

In the role of COO, Karlsson will be responsible for the operational side of
AbSorber's business, encompassing the production and sales of XM-ONE, as well as
the development of new products. Karlsson will also support AbSorber's partner
BD in its work to introduce and market XM-ONE in markets outside the Nordic
region.

AbSorber develops products that facilitate successful transplantations. The
company's first product, the transplantation test XM-ONE™ identifies important
antibodies responsible for rejection subsequent to transplantation. The company
is also developing an AB0 Column for transplantations between individuals of
different blood groups for which a patent is pending and an AB0 diagnostic tool
that measures the occurrence of blood group antibodies.

LinkMed's ownership stake in AbSorber is 40 percent.
