Mr. Jay Schrankler, Former Honeywell Vice President, and Mr. Henry Song, Chief Executive Officer of Shenzhen DiGuang Electronics, Join Board of Directors, Effective September 10, 2007


ONTARIO, Calif., Sept. 11, 2007 (PRIME NEWSWIRE) -- SOYO Inc. (OTCBB:SOYO), an innovative provider of computer and consumer electronics products, today announced that Mr. Jay Schrankler, a former Vice President of Honeywell Intellectual Properties Inc. and Mr. Henry Song, Chief Executive Officer of Shenzhen DiGuang Electronics, have been appointed to the SOYO Board of Directors, effective September 10, 2007.

Mr. Shrankler served as Vice President of Licensing and Marketing for Honeywell International Inc.'s Automation and Control Solutions from 2003 to 2007. From 2001 to 2003, he served as the Vice President of Environmental Controls for Honeywell International Inc.'s Automation and Control Solutions. From 1999 to 2001, he served as Vice President and General Manager of the Honeywell International Inc. Home and Building Control. Currently, he works at the University of Minnesota as an Executive Director in the Office for Tech Communications.

Mr. Song has worked as the Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of the Board for Shenzhen DiGuang Electronics since 1996. Mr. Song and his company are known as a leading edge manufacturer LED back light unit (BLU) display technologies. SOYO views LED technology as the future of the flat panel market.
