Asiasoft, a TIS Company, Opens Citrix Solutions Centre in Singapore

Solutions Centre to Help Industry Customers Implement Citrix Application Delivery Solutions for Regulatory Compliance, IT Efficiency, Business Continuity and Application Security

SINGAPORE, Sept. 18, 2007 (PRIME NEWSWIRE) -- Citrix Systems, Inc. (Nasdaq:CTXS), and Asiasoft Global, a leading regional IT consultancy and services company, today announced the launch of the Asiasoft Citrix Solutions Centre in Singapore. The solutions centre is the first such investment for Asiasoft in the region, and comes on the back of a spectacular 40 percent revenue growth from Asiasoft's Citrix solutions practice.

Founded in Singapore in 1986, and with offices spanning China, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Philippines and Singapore, Asiasoft has established itself as a strong regional player in the IT consultancy and services sector. It has a proven track record of providing demonstrative value across a vast number of industries -- notably financial services, government, manufacturing and healthcare -- and counts amongst its customers names like Asia Pacific Breweries, National Library Board of Singapore and United Overseas Bank. Asiasoft was recently acquired by Top Image Systems (TIS) (Nasdaq:TISA) (TASE:TISA), the leading innovator of data capture solutions which became one of the strongest players in China and Asia Pacific. Asiasoft serves as TIS's sales, marketing and R&D base in Asia.

"Citrix is ranked among the top 10 strategic IT vendors globally today, and there is a surging demand for its application delivery solutions as Citrix is right at the heart of solving many of the business challenges confronting organizations today," said Alex Toh, Managing Director, Asiasoft. "These business drivers include enabling regulatory compliance, strengthening security, speeding up application deployment, driving IT efficiency and ensuring business continuity."

The Asiasoft Citrix Solutions Centre will provide customers -- primarily in the financial services, government, manufacturing and healthcare sectors -- a fully-equipped facility to conduct proof of concepts across the various stages of implementation, from infrastructure analysis and architecture design, through to building/testing and rollout.

Asiasoft has made a significant investment to fit out the solutions centre with cutting-edge technology comprising a wide range of server and network appliances, and a variety of endpoint devices (eg. desktops, PDAs, thin clients, smartphones), to simulate different access and authentication scenarios for different types of applications, and to build different vertical environments to facilitate real-life simulations.

"Asiasoft shares Citrix's vision of delivering applications for customers on demand with the best performance, security, and total cost of ownership," said Yaj Malik, Area Vice President, ASEAN, Citrix Systems. "We are already receiving feedback that the Asiasoft Citrix Solutions Centre will deliver tremendous value to customers, and this facility is a tangible commitment of our joint commitment to deliver the best of breed application delivery solutions to the market."

Asiasoft was appointed as a Citrix partner in 1999, and is today the first channel partner, or Citrix Solution Advisor, in the ASEAN region to be conferred a Citrix Platinum Partner status, after achieving a spectacular 40 percent growth in overall Citrix sales in 2006 to generate over US$1 million in sales. Asiasoft has dedicated twelve personnel full-time in the Citrix solutions practice, across a number of functions including solution sales, engineers and business development.

Citrix Systems Enjoys Growth Momentum in ASEAN

Citrix Systems grew its ASEAN revenues by 48% in 2006, and expects to maintain a double-digit growth rate for 2007, driven by strong demand across key verticals including financial services, government and telecommunications across the government.

"Our Citrix Solution Advisors, such as Asiasoft Global, are intrinsically involved in the Citrix growth story, and we are committed to strengthening our channel partnerships to offer customers a complete solution to deliver, secure, optimize and monitor application delivery," said Mr Malik.

To date, Citrix Systems has more than 2,400 customers in ASEAN alone, with 34 percent from Singapore.
