Canyon Acres Welcomes Carole Geronsin to Board of Directors

Successful Orange County Real Estate Agent Brings Education Background to Board


ANAHEIM HILLS, Calif., Sept. 19, 2007 (PRIME NEWSWIRE) -- Canyon Acres Children and Family Services, a charity organization committed to providing homes, care, treatment and supportive services for abused, neglected and emotionally troubled children and their families, announced Carole Geronsin has joined the board of directors. Geronsin taught elementary school for more than 10 years and has been selling real estate in Orange County for the past 30 years.

"Carole has a passion to help the children of Canyon Acres, and we are excited to have her on board as we continue to provide the much-needed services and support to the children who need us."

Geronsin holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Education and Psychology from Northern Illinois University, and has taught elementary school both in Chicago and, later, in the Anaheim elementary school district. During her time in Chicago, Geronsin started an after-school program and taught in the mentally gifted program in Anaheim, developing the individualized learning system that was televised and observed by educators worldwide. Along with her career as a successful realtor in Orange County, Geronsin has done philanthropic work for children and the elderly.
