Tele2 divests 3C Communications International SA ("3C") to Telekurs for approximately SEK 50 million


Stockholm - Tele2 AB, ("Tele2"), (Stockholm Stock Exchange: TEL2 A
and TEL2 B), Europe's leading alternative telecom operator, today
announced that it has sold 3C to Telekurs. Telekurs will pay in cash
approximately SEK 50 million on a cash and debt free basis.

3C, which has been included in market area Services, affected Tele2's
operating revenue in 2006 and the first half of 2007 by SEK 72
million and SEK 34 million, respectively, and EBITDA by SEK -6
million and SEK -8 million, respectively. The transaction will have a
negative one-time P&L effect on Tele2 of approximately SEK 150
million.

3C Communications International SA, a wholly-owned subsidiary of
Tele2, is a company in the field of card-based payment transactions.
3C has provided payment solutions for over 20 years, in 24 countries
around the world within a wide variety of industry and market
segments including hotels & restaurants, car parking, retail, vending
