Topdanmark increases its holding of own shares

Topdanmark now holds own shares representing 10.00% of the share capital as
opposed to the 9.22% previously reported in announcement No. 17/2007 published
on 8 August 2007. This is an increase in the holding of own shares to 1,845,190
shares from the 1,701,338 previously reported. 

At an extraordinary general meeting on 17 September it was decided to reduce
the share capital by 820,900 of these 1,845,190 own shares and they are
expected to be cancelled on the expiry of the three-month time limit for filing
objections on 18 December 2007. 

To date in 2007 Topdanmark has bought back own shares of DKK 1,471m of the
previously announced share buy-back programme of DKK 2,100m for 2007. 

Topdanmark's most recently reported on its share buy-back in its H1 2007 report
when it had bought back own shares of DKK 1,347m.
