DFW's Leading Companies' Products On Display At State of Technology Luncheon


DALLAS, Sept. 21, 2007 (PRIME NEWSWIRE) -- A state-by-state overview of the high tech industry dubs Texas the second largest cyber-state in the nation, with approximately 460,000 high tech workers.

The 7th Annual State of Technology Luncheon is an effective means of engaging industry leaders and executives in regional and global issues affecting the technology arena. Hosted by the Greater Dallas Chamber's Technology Business Council, this year's luncheon program is "Technological Evolution and the Knowledge Economy." This annual event provides the perfect venue for industry networking while continuing to promote the DFW region as the broadest and deepest technology center in the world. This event brings together more than 700 key industry leaders to present and discuss exciting new products and prototypes that are advancing the technology arena.

The event is Oct. 2 at the Adam's Mark Hotel, 400 Olive St., Dallas. The exhibit area will open at 9:30 AM and close at 12:30 PM. The luncheon will begin at noon.

The exhibit hall will host over 40 companies' products and services that are emerging in the DFW region. The exhibits offer additional learning and networking opportunities while addressing specific technological challenges and advancements. There is no charge for the exhibit hall.

Each year, the State of Technology Luncheon addresses a cutting-edge aspect of the technology industry and how it impacts the greater Dallas region. This year's luncheon, featuring keynote speaker Richard W. Fisher, president and CEO of the Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas, will discuss technologies that disrupt old production functions and create new economic opportunities.
