Michael Green new head of Handelsbanken in Western Sweden

Michael Green has been appointed as the new head of Handelsbanken's
regional bank in Western Sweden. At the same time he has been
appointed Executive Vice President of Handelsbanken and becomes a
member of the Bank's senior management team.

Michael Green is currently head of Handelsbanken's New York branch.
He will be taking up his new position on 1 January 2008.
