NCC to construct Citytunneln stations for SEK 450 million NCC Construction Sweden has been commissioned to construct the Hyllie, Triangeln and Malmö C Nedre stations. The client is Citytunneln and the order is worth approximately SEK 450 million. The assignment comprises interior and supplementary structural works at the Triangeln and Hyllie stations and the Malmö C Nedre underground station. The contract also includes construction of the arrival hall at Hyllie station and smaller station entrances north of central station and at Universitetsholmen. The works on the stations will commence during the first half of 2008 and the assignment will be registered among orders during the third quarter of 2007. Citytunneln will comprise17 kilometers of railway that connect Malmö C with the Öresund Link, while linking together the entire railway network in southern Sweden and increasing the future capacity for railway traffic. Tunnels under central Malmö account for six kilometers of Citytunneln and railway lines above ground for 11 kilometers. Citytunneln is scheduled for completion in 2011.
