As an important milestone in the restructuring of GN's headset supply chain, GN has today signed a supply chain agreement through which it intends to expand its relationship with a major global electronics manufacturing services (EMS) provider to include production, fulfillment and other logistical services. As part of the expanded relationship, GN has started up fulfillment operations in the EMS provider's facility in the Czech Republic. Both events represent key steps in GN's strategy to increase scalability and flexibility in the cost base in relation to fluctuating demand and also to improve quality throughout the value chain. GN will disclose the supply chain provider in 60 days as per the agreement. The effect of the agreement on GN's revenue and earnings were included in the guidance for 2007 announced in the Q2 Interim Report 2007 released on August 15.
