AB Mazeikiu Nafta informs that the insurance companies have made the first payment to AB Mazeikiu Nafta in the amount of USD 70 million (LTL 173.7 million or EUR 50.3 million) in compensation of the losses caused by the 12th October 2006 fire. The final amount of all losses and insurance payment will be determined having completed all of the Vacuum Distillation Unit rebuild activities in AB Mazeikiu Nafta.
