Mr. Mikhail Bagryantsev, former Deputy Managing Director, has been appointed to the post of Managing Director for Svir Timber with effect from 15 October 2007. Mr. Bagryantsev will report to Mr. Ilkka Hämälä, Senior Vice President, Production and Deliveries, Botnia. The members of Svir Timber´s management group are Mr. Mikhail Bagryantsev, Mr. Ismo Heinonen (Technical Director) and Mr. Mika Laine (Controller). Technical Director Ismo Heinonen is responsible for production, developing produc-tion technology and marketing at Svir Timber. He will also act as a deputy for Managing Director. Mr. Erkki Peltonen continues as a Marketing Manager. The present Managing Director, Eero Smolander, has left the company for moving to service of another company.
