The construction and installation works at Botnia's pulp mill in Uruguay are technically nearly completed. According to the original schedule, the mill was foreseen to start up production by the end of the third quarter of 2007. To commence commercial production the mill requires a final environmental permit from Uruguayan authorities who are currently finalizing this procedure. Botnia continues to work in close cooperation with the authorities in order to finalize the permit procedure, after which the start-up process of the mill will be set in motion.
