Progress Energy Florida's President and CEO Jeffrey Lyash to Keynote At Association of Energy Services Professionals' 18th National Energy Services Conference and Expo


PHOENIX, Oct. 2, 2007 (PRIME NEWSWIRE) -- The Association of Energy Services Professionals (www.aesp.org) and conference host, Progress Energy, announce Jeffrey Lyash, President and CEO of Progress Energy, will be the keynote speaker for AESP's 18th National Energy Services Conference and Expo, January 28-31, 2008, in Clearwater Beach, Florida.

Jeffrey Lyash joined Progress Energy in 1993. Prior to being appointed to President and CEO, Mr. Lyash served as Senior Vice President of Energy Delivery. In that role he managed the four operations and customer service regions, and the distribution operations and support functions in Florida.
