QPR SOFTWARE PLC STOCK EXCHANGE RELEASE 2 OCTOBER 2007 at 3.15 PM QPR SOFTWARE PLC´S PRELIMINARY FINANCIAL INFORMATION QPR Software Plc estimates its third quarter 2007 group net sales to be approximately 1.2 million euros, thus smaller than in the equivalent quarter in 2006 (third quarter 2006: 1.362 million euros). The company estimates its third quarter 2007 operating profit to arrive at a loss of approximately 0.3 million euros (third quarter 2006: 0.013 million euros profit). On 14 February, 2007, QPR Software published its forecast for the full year 2007. QPR Software Group's net sales and operating profit in year 2007 were estimated to increase from the previous year. Based on its view of the business for the rest of the year, the management of QPR Software estimates that net sales in year 2007 will be on a level similar to the previous year (2006 net sales 6.901 million euros). Operating profit for the fourth quarter is estimated to increase year-on-year, but the full year 2007 operating profit is estimated to be smaller than in the previous year (2006 operating profit 0.517 million euros). The nature of the software license business of the QPR Software Group is seasonal. Seasonality of large software deals can affect significantly net sales and profit of one individual quarter.
