Photo Release -- Northrop Grumman Names Judy McFarland Vice President, Human Resources Service Center


LOS ANGELES, Oct. 3, 2007 (PRIME NEWSWIRE) -- Northrop Grumman Corporation (NYSE:NOC) announced today that it has appointed Judy McFarland as vice president of its Human Resources Service Center, effective Oct. 15. She will report to Ian Ziskin, corporate vice president and chief human resources and administrative officer.

In her new role, McFarland will be responsible for overall leadership and program management of key company-wide initiatives including the implementation of the Human Resources Service Center. The center will be responsible for human resources transactions and services for employees throughout Northrop Grumman.

"Judy's wide range of experience gives her a comprehensive understanding of the systems and processes required to meet the human resource needs of our complex enterprise," said Ziskin.

McFarland has more than 27 years of human resources and operations experience at Northrop Grumman, TRW, BDM, and Bell Atlantic, including roles as a division human resources director and as a leader of functional organizations such as learning and development, staffing, policies, diversity, and workforce relations. Her most recent assignment was as director of human resources for the Defense Mission Systems division of the Northrop Grumman Mission Systems sector.

McFarland earned a bachelor of science degree in management from National-Louis University.
