Component Changes Made to Dow Jones STOXX Indexes


ZURICH, Switzerland, Oct. 5, 2007 (PRIME NEWSWIRE) -- STOXX Ltd., the leading European index provider, today announced changes in the Dow Jones EURO STOXX 50 Index, Dow Jones EURO STOXX Select Dividend 30 Index and Dow Jones STOXX 600 Large Index.

ENDESA (Spain, Utilities, ELE; ELE.MC) will be deleted from the Dow Jones EURO STOXX 50, Dow Jones EURO STOXX Select Dividend 30 and Dow Jones STOXX 600 Large indexes due to its takeover by Enel and Acciona.

In the Dow Jones EURO STOXX 50 Index ENDESA will be replaced by VOLKSWAGEN (Germany, Automobiles & Parts, VLKAY; VOW.XE).

In the Dow Jones EURO STOXX Select Dividend 30 Index ENDESA will be replaced by NATIXIS (France, Banks, 12068.FR).

In the Dow Jones STOXX 600 Large Index ENDESA will be replaced by VESTAS WIND SYSTEMS (Denmark, Industrial Goods & Services, VWSYF; VWS.KO).

The changes in the Dow Jones EURO STOXX 50, Dow Jones EURO STOXX Select Dividend 30 and the Dow Jones STOXX 600 Large Indexes will be effective with the open of trading on Wednesday, October 10, 2007.
