Peab Industri makes acquisitions in Norway

Peab Industri is acquiring SMEFA Entreprenör AS in Norway. SMEFA operates on the
foundations market. In 2006, the company had sales of NOK 80 million and
employed a staff of almost 30.

Peab Industri already operates on the foundations market in Sweden. Foundations
business falls within the Services business area.

- With the acquisition of SMEFA we are embarking upon foundation operations in
Norway. The acquisition will bring us synergies through the development and
exchange of expertise as well as within the purchasing area. We see good growth
potential within foundation services in Norway, says Mats O Paulsson, CEO of
Peab Industri AB.

Peab Industri will also take over the business of renting sheds to the building
and construction market from Dalsaet AS. The deal involves some 500 sheds which
are rented out to a large number of customers in the Norwegian market. The
renting of sheds is part of the Machinery business area.
