Changes in Ahlstrom s Corporate Executive Team



Ahlstrom Corporation STOCK EXCHANGE RELEASE 11.10.2007

Diego Borello, currently Senior Vice President of Ahlstrom's Label &
Packaging Papers business area, will assume responsibility for
Innovation and Health, safety and environment (HSEA) functions of
Ahlstrom Corporation as of October 11, 2007. Diego Borello will
particularly focus on improving the energy efficiency in Ahlstrom's
operations. He continues to be a member of the Corporate Executive
Team.

As of the same date, Daniele Borlatto, currently Vice President,
Filtration business in Europe and South America, is appointed Senior
Vice President of Label & Packaging Papers business area and member
of the Corporate Executive Team. Daniele Borlatto joined Ahlstrom in
1990, and he has held several managerial positions in sales and
controlling prior to his current role. He continues to be based in
Turin, Italy.
