Aarsleff to build quay on St. Maarten in the Caribbean

Per Aarsleff A/S and the Dutch company Ballast Nedam Infra B.V. have signed a
contract with the St. Maarten port authorities for execution of a new quay at a
value of DKK 350 million.

St. Maarten is a Caribbean island with an increasing number of cruise ships
calling at the port. With the extension, the port increases its capacity from
four to six ships per day and becomes able to receive some of the world's
largest cruise ships.

The work will be performed in an equally shared consortium and is scheduled for
commencement at the turn of the year. The quay itself shall be finished in
December 2008 and the terminal area four months later in April 2009.

Aarsleff has previously cooperated with Ballast Nedam, e.g. on the West Bridge
across the Great Belt and on the execution of marine works in connection with
the construction of the Øresund Link.

The outcome of the project will be included in the forecasted result for the
financial year 2007/2008 which will be announced as usual in connection with
the announcement of the annual results for the financial year 2006/2007.
