About the Author

Gary McKnight attended a public elementary school and later attended Lincoln High School. He studied business, economics, management, computer systems, accounting, investments and sociology at Saint Peter's College in Jersey City, New Jersey. Upon completion of these studies, he received a B.S. degree in Accounting and secondary studies in computer systems analysis. Mr. McKnight furthered his studies at the graduate school of Long Island University in New York, where he studied graduate courses in business, finance, accounting, economics, taxation and corporate business combination, and mergers and acquisitions. Upon completing the required courses, he received a Master's degree in Taxation. Due to a corporate assignment to the Midwest, Mr. McKnight attended the University of Wisconsin graduate school. There he completed the educational requirements for his master's degree. In addition, Mr. McKnight studied film, television, and media subjects at New York University in New York City, New York.

Gary McKnight has a corporate, investment, and financial management background. He participated in management training programs at General Motors Corporation. Upon departing from General Motors Corporation, Mr. McKnight had worked for leading investment and financial companies. He had studied labor and management negotiations at Marquette University. McKnight has held a Wall Street background as a financial advisor/stockbroker for a leading investment company (Merrill Lynch Pierce Fenner and Smith).

Gary McKnight currently provides financial, business and management advice as a consultant. He also provides management, consultation, and development services for film, media, and entertainment projects.
