During January-September 2006 according to IFAS the Company gained 27 859 thou. LTL (8 069 thou. EUR) net profit. Sales revenue for the products and services of the Company during January-September 2007 - 642 285 thou. LTL (186 019 thou. EUR), and 604 216 t of the basic product DAPsold, earning 552 623 thou. LTL (160 051 thou. LTL). Sales income during January-September 2006 - 490 285 thou.LTL (141 996 thou. EUR). There were sold 599 015 t of the DAP, earning 404 128 thou.LTL (117 044 thou. EUR). During January-September 2007 net profit of the Company compared with an appropriate period of 2006 increased 5 times, sales revenue increased 31 %. The key driver of the successful results in 2007 was strongly increased price of the basic product diammonium phosphate. High fertilizer prices in the world market were influenced by biofuels production growth in USA, Brasil and EU members. Strong demand for biofuel production fitted plantings increased their prices. Farmers seeking to maximise yields increased plantings and demand for fertilizer. On July 2007 was successfully completed the biggest project during the last 6 years "Utilization of local and recovered process heat at sulphuric acid unit in power generation process“. This project led in the 3rd quarter 2007 to buy less and to sell more electrical energy as it was earlier. Financial benefit of the project in the 3rd quarter 2007 was 1 400 thou. LTL (405 thou.
