I Padrini d'Antonello's 'An Evening Under the Stars' Nets More Than $200,000

Proceeds to Benefit Canyon Acres Children and Family Services


ANAHEIM HILLS, Calif., Oct. 22, 2007 (PRIME NEWSWIRE) -- Canyon Acres Children and Family services, a charity organization committed to providing homes, care, treatment and supportive services for abused, neglected and emotionally troubled children and their families, today announced the success of 'An Evening Under the Stars,' an event hosted by I Padrini d'Antonello on October 7, 2007. The event took place at Antonello Ristorante and netted more than $200,000.

The benefit featured a cocktail reception, dinner with exquisite wine pairing, a live auction, and dancing to the sounds of the Frank Wright Band.

"The generous support of our donors, volunteers and the local community is what allows us to continue to provide vital services to our children."

Event sponsors included the Troy Group, Gemini Industries, the Marconi Foundation for Kids, California Sunset Escrow, Commerce West Bank, Orange Coast Magazine, A. Gary Anderson Family Foundation and Antonello Ristorante. A crowd of more than 230 guests enjoyed a three-course meal and participated in a live auction that included an Italian vacation and a private-chef dinner by Antonello's executive chef Franco Barone. Mr. S. Paul Musco, Board Member for both I Padrini and Canyon Acres, generously donated a beautiful gold coin necklace that was won by one lucky lady in attendance.
