LOS ANGELES, Oct. 24, 2007 (PRIME NEWSWIRE) -- Northrop Grumman Corporation has established a toll-free telephone hotline, (866) 642-8725, for employees impacted by the ongoing Southern California fires who need one-on-one assistance.

The telephone line is staffed 24 hours a day by operators who can provide affected employees with answers to questions about -- and offer assistance on such matters as payroll, housing and food. Northrop Grumman requests that the lines remain open for employees needing one-on-one assistance. For recorded updates about facilities closures and work schedules in impacted areas, the company suggests employees call the Northrop Grumman Emergency Information Line at (800) 995-4318.
