David is the President of Bonne, Bridges, Mueller, O'Keefe & Nichols, which has offices in Los Angeles, Orange County, and Las Vegas, Nevada. David has tried over 250 jury trials, achieving the rank of Diplomate in ABOTA. He is a fellow in the American College of Trial Lawyers, and a fellow in the International Academy of Trial Lawyers, an invitation only organization limited to 500 members who are considered by their peers to be some of the most accomplished trial attorneys in the country. David has also been recognized by Los Angeles Magazine on multiple occasions as a Super Lawyer and was listed in Law Dragon as one of the 100 most influential lawyers in the state. He has tried cases against most of the luminaries of the plaintiffs bar, including David Harney, Irving Green, Louis Bell, Sam Shorr, Edgar Simon, Charlie O'Reilly, Tom Girardi, Russ Kussman, Bruce Fagel, Chris Day, Jack Denove, and Herb Hafif, to name only a few.

Over the years David's practice has been largely focused on the defense of physicians and other health care providers, and he is routinely sought after by physicians throughout the state. David has also defended a number of attorneys in legal malpractice cases, who have requested his representation after having litigated cases against him. More recently David took on the defense of a number of complicated employment law cases and was designated lead trial counsel in cases involving the defense of the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Los Angeles.

Bonne, Bridges, Mueller, O'Keefe & Nichols was founded in 1961 and is one of California's premier civil litigation defense firms. Much of the firm's ongoing trial practice continues to be focused upon the health care industry; however, over the years, the firm has branched out into the representation of clients who are confronted with employment law claims, elder law & long term care, general liability, legal malpractice lawsuits, HMO liability, licensing board matters and civil appeals. The firm's 45-plus years of exposure to the trial bench and bar has resulted in a reputation for both exceptional competence and utmost integrity, as well as a reputation for attorneys who are willing to accept the challenges of a civil jury trial whenever a case cannot be favorably resolved on their client's behalf outside of litigation.
