Northrop Grumman Wins Navy Engineering and Technical Services Contract


VIRGINIA BEACH, Va., Oct. 30, 2007 (PRIME NEWSWIRE) -- Northrop Grumman Corporation (NYSE:NOC) was awarded a contract by the U.S. Navy for engineering and technical services work. AMSEC LLC, a subsidiary of Northrop Grumman's Newport News sector and full-service provider of engineering, logistics and technical support services, is the prime contractor for the work.

The cost-plus-fixed-fee contract, valued at $8.2 million, includes four option years. Work includes engineering, logistics, training, software and waterfront support for the total ship information management system program at Naval Surface Warfare Center, Carderock Division, Philadelphia.

"We have been supporting the in-service engineering agent and commander, Naval Air Forces, for years and look forward to continuing to provide a high quality product for the Navy's fleet."

Work will be performed in Norfolk, Va., Philadelphia, San Diego, Everett and Bremerton, Wash., and Japan and is expected to be completed by September 30, 2012.
