Sponda to redevelop office property into hotel in Kamppi, Helsinki

Real estate investment company Sponda Plc and Palace Kämp Hotellit Oy have
signed a long-term lease for Koy Vanhajämerä, which is located in the Kamppi
district of Helsinki at Lönnrotinkatu 27. 

The property of 4,400 square metres, which formerly housed offices, will be
redeveloped for hotel use. Palace Kämp Hotellit Oy will combine the property
with its Hotel Linna in the same block. The redevelopment, which will start at
the beginning of 2008, will be completed in spring 2009. The work will affect
the inside of the building but not the facade. The street level retail premises
in the property will also be unchanged.
