REYKJAVIK & LONDON - Straumur has appointed Andrew Bernhardt as Managing Director of its Debt Finance Division. In this new role, he will become a member of the Bank's Executive Committee. He replaces Margit Robertet who has resigned and will leave on 1 of November 2007. Margit Robertet was appointed Managing Director for the Debt Finance Division in September 2005 after joining Burdarás as an investment manager earlier that year. Andrew Bernhardt joined Straumur as Head of Debt Finance in London on 2 October 2007. He was previously an Executive Director of GE Commercial Finance Leveraged Finance.
