Summit Business Media Appoints Kathy Schneider as Vice President of Human Resources

Will Facilitate Further Growth of Company With 500 Employees and 14 Offices


NEW YORK, Nov. 5, 2007 (PRIME NEWSWIRE) -- Summit Business Media, LLC, a leading business-to-business media and information company serving the insurance, financial and professional services markets, today announced the appointment of Kathy Schneider as Vice President of Human Resources for the overall organization, from head of HR for one of Summit's subsidiary companies, Highline Business Media LLC.

Schneider continues to report to Andrew Goodenough, President of Highline and Summit. Summit currently has approximately 500 employees and 14 offices. "With more than 25 years of HR experience in publishing, Kathy will play an important role in Summit's growth in the B2B media space by continuously drawing and retaining quality employees and overseeing the integration of acquired companies," said Goodenough. "She has facilitated the strong growth of Highline Media for the past four years as well as the recent integration with Pfingsten Publishing. During her tenure at Highline, she was instrumental in the integration of seven acquisitions and the growth of our employee base from 100 to 350. This is a well-deserved promotion."

Before joining Highline in 2004, Schneider was Director of Human Resources for F&W Publishing in Cincinnati, with 900 employees.
