HCC Appoints William Lukefahr Vice President and Chief Information Officer


HOUSTON, Nov. 5, 2007 (PRIME NEWSWIRE) -- HCC Insurance Holdings, Inc. (NYSE:HCC) today announced the appointment of William W. Lukefahr as the Company's Vice President and Chief Information Officer.

Lukefahr has served in a number of positions since beginning his career in Information Technology in 1979, most recently as Vice President of Solutions and Service R&D / Applications Development for Cardinal Health. A graduate of Texas A&M University with a B.S. degree in Applied Mathematical Sciences and an M.B.A. in Computing Sciences, Lukefahr is a Certified Computing Professional.
