JSC “Grindeks” is evaluated as one of the best efficient management and good practice examples in Latvia

On 1 November JSC “Grindeks” received the recognition of “Efficient Management
Award” in the nomination “The Best Corporate Management Enterprise” for the
implementation of the principles of corporate governance in the Company. The
recognition was given in the framework of the forum “Efficient Management and
Partnership: the best practice in business, state and municipal institutions”
organised by The Employers' Confederation of Latvia and The State Chancellery.
Thus Grindeks is evaluated as one of the best examples of efficient management
and good practice in Latvia. 

The competition statute says: “Efficient management indicates a balance that an
organisation gives implementing public, environmental and organisation's social
and economic objectives. Efficient management is an instrument of improvement
of organisations` activities by improving its management and productivity and
offering a product or service with higher added value. The aim of the award is
to promote good management practice in Latvia and exchange mutual experience
between private and public sectors to increase management quality.” 

JSC “Grindeks” work is organized by the high corporate management standards
implementing the Corporate governance principles drafted by the Riga Stock
Exchange in 2005. Employees, innovations and the exportability were recognized
as the best Grindeks` qualities in this competition.
