Pain Therapeutics Invited to Present at the Credit Suisse Healthcare Conference


SAN MATEO, Calif., Nov. 6, 2007 (PRIME NEWSWIRE) -- Pain Therapeutics, Inc. (Nasdaq:PTIE) today announced that management will present at the 2007 Credit Suisse Healthcare Conference on Tuesday, November 13th at 5:00 p.m. Mountain Time in Phoenix, Arizona.

In December, Pain Therapeutics plans to release top-line results of its Phase III study with Remoxy(tm), an abuse-deterrent opioid painkiller. The data from this pivotal study remain blinded.
