Temecula Valley Winery Management Raises the Bar

TEMECULA, Calif., Nov. 6, 2007 (PRIME NEWSWIRE) -- Temecula Valley Winery Management is revolutionizing the wine industry with new products and services that will make existing wineries more successful and dramatically lower the cost of entry for those who want to bottle their own wine.

Conceived two years ago as a subsidiary of a well-respected Temecula winery and farm management company, Temecula Valley Winery Management offers services that go far beyond traditional custom crush facilities.

TVWM will set up and manage wine clubs with its proprietary software program, train staff, establish a proven restaurant placement program, manage special events, ensure regulatory compliance and market and promote your winery and its wines.

"We are the only true full-service winery management company in Southern California," said Patrick Bartlett, executive director of Temecula-based TVWM. "Many companies offer custom crush and bottling, but we are the first to offer Virtual Vineyard to Vendor, a complete winery development package."

TVWM's Virtual Vineyard to Vendor facility in Temecula will allow small winemakers and growers to create and market their own boutique wines. The 8,000-square-foot facility will operate as a fully bonded winery host facility and provide a secured space for multiple winemakers to process their own grapes and produce their own wines under the guidance of award-winning consulting winemaker Tim Kramer.

"Unlike a traditional custom crush arrangement that only allows winemakers to sell their wine wholesale, our facility will allow new wine labels to sell their wines direct to consumer with drastically higher profits," Bartlett explained.

"Rather than millions of dollars to start a winery, we have lowered the cost of entry to the wine business to hundreds of thousands of dollars," said Bartlett, who has more than 20 years in the wine, food and sales and marketing businesses. "We also provide the marketing and branding support to ensure your wines are sold through a wine club, restaurants, retail outlets or a proposed co-op tasting room that will highlight our client's boutique wines."

Temecula Valley Winery Management was created by owners and managers of Leonesse Cellars and Stage Ranch Farm Management Co. in response to countless requests for professional services from developing wineries in the region. Seeing the need for specialized wine management services, Leonesse and Stage Ranch established TVWM in June 2007.

TVWM is already working with several major clients who want to take advantage of its unique services, including the developer of a $6 million tasting room and production facility in Temecula.

Leonesse Cellars is one of Temecula Valley's newest wineries. Leonesse's proven methods have helped it grow into an award-winning winery with one of the largest and fastest growing wine clubs in the region.

Stage Ranch Farm Management has been a pioneer in grape farming practices and producing high quality fruit. For years Stage Ranch sold quality grapes to northern and central California wine makers. Stage Ranch currently farms over 500 acres of grapes and is in the process of planting vineyards for many of the region's emerging wineries.
