Shares subscribed with the Outokumpu Oyj 2003A and 2003B stock options and the increase in share capital

Between September 8, 2007 and October 29, 2007 a total of 5 050
shares have been subscribed for with the 2003A stock options
(FI0009629133) and between September 3, 2007 and October 29, 2007 a
total of 14 379 shares have been subscribed for with the 2003B stock
options (FI0009633671). As a result of the share subscriptions the
share capital of Outokumpu Oyj has increased by EUR 33 029.30.

The increase in share capital has been entered into the Finnish trade
register on November 9, 2007 and the subscribed shares will be listed
on the OMX Nordic Exchange Helsinki and trading will commence along
with the old shares as of November 12, 2007.
