City National Bank Names Davis and Torcasso as Managers of Its New Full-Service Branch in Summerlin Area of Northwest Las Vegas


LAS VEGAS, Nov. 15, 2007 (PRIME NEWSWIRE) -- City National Bank today announced that it has named Floy Davis as the branch relationship manager and Barbara Torcasso as the customer service manager of its new full-service branch in the Summerlin area of northwest Las Vegas. Davis and Torcasso are longtime colleagues of the bank who recently transferred to the Summerlin location from other branches in the Las Vegas valley. The new branch is a 5,000 square foot, state-of-the-art facility located at 10801 West Charleston Boulevard near I-215 and the Red Rock Resort and Spa. Davis, who has worked in the banking industry for nearly 30 years, joined City National's predecessor, Business Bank of Nevada, in 2000 as vice president and branch relationship manager of its branch at Lake Mead and Tenaya Way in northwest Las Vegas. Prior to joining the bank, Davis worked for Pioneer Citizens Bank, which is now Nevada State Bank, as vice president and manager. She also worked for Bank of America as a branch manager in the Las Vegas area for a number of years. Davis began her banking career with Valley Bank of Nevada in 1978 and served in a variety of positions, including teller, new accounts, financial sales representative and preferred banker, before Valley Bank was acquired by Bank of America.

Davis is actively involved in the community through various trade and nonprofit organizations, including current member and past president of the Due North Civitan Service Club, co-chairman of the membership committee of the North Las Vegas Chamber of Commerce, member of NAWBO, and finance chairman and member of the building committee for the Spring Valley Baptist Church. Torcasso, who has more than 21 years in the banking industry, joined City National's predecessor in 2003 as assistant vice president and customer service manager of its branch at Tropicana and Eastern Avenue in Las Vegas. Torcasso was promoted to vice president in 2005. Prior to joining the bank, Torcasso worked for MoneyTree as an assistant manager. She also worked for Nevada State Bank as a branch service manager. Torcasso began her career in the financial services industry with GreenPoint Bank in New York City in 1986 and served in a variety of positions, including teller trainee, operations officer and assistant manager.

Torcasso is a graduate of West Hempstead High School in Long Island, and studied Marketing and Advertising while attending Nassau Community College in New York. She is also very active in the community through various nonprofit organizations, including March of Dimes, Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF), and Opportunity Village.
