SAN JOSE, Calif., Nov. 16, 2007 (PRIME NEWSWIRE) -- Heritage Bank of Commerce, the operating bank of Heritage Commerce Corp. (Nasdaq:HTBK), today announced that Thomas S. Rohlf has joined the bank as a Senior Vice President and Regional Manager for the South Valley market.

Before joining Heritage Bank of Commerce, Rohlf was a Senior Relationship Manager with Union Bank of California. With over 28 years of banking experience, Rohlf was formerly with Rabobank, Community Bank of Central California and Great Western Bank.
Rohlf is active in the South Valley community as a member of Rotary International and the Santa Cruz County Farm Bureau. He also serves as a Docent at Big Basin Redwoods State Park, a course marshal for the annual AT&T golf tournament and is involved with the World Affairs Council, the American Institute of Banking and the Salinas Valley Leadership program.
Rohlf earned a Bachelors degree at the University of San Diego, with a concentration in history, international studies and economics. He resides in Santa Cruz with his wife and son.
