Nord Pool Clearing has experienced technical instability with the Clearing Desk Application (CDA) today and this incident follows several other unavailability incidents for the system. However, there will be no implications on the clearing processes as the system is operational now. Both exchange trades and OTC-trades will be cleared as usual. Lysaker, 19 November 2007 Nord Pool Clearing assures that the instability of the CDA has the highest priority in the organisation in order to maintain a stabile system for the clearing customers. Nord Pool Clearing apologizes for the inconvenience these incidents have caused and a new version of the CDA is currently being tested. One of the upgrade features is to increase system stability and minimize the inaccessibility time. Today's problems are not linked to the testing of the new version.
