STOXX Changes Composition of European Benchmark Indexes

Fourth Regular Quarterly Review to be Effective On December 24, 2007


ZURICH, Switzerland, Nov. 20, 2007 (PRIME NEWSWIRE) -- STOXX Ltd. today announced changes in the composition of the Dow Jones STOXX Global 1800 Index, the Dow Jones STOXX Total Market Index, the Dow Jones STOXX 600 Index and its sector indexes, the Dow Jones STOXX EU Enlarged Total Market Index and the Dow Jones STOXX Football Index.

Effective with the open of European markets on December 24, 2007 the following 14 stocks will be added to the Dow Jones STOXX 600 and its respective size and sector indexes: BABCOCK INTERNATIONAL (U.K., Industrial Goods & Services, BAB.LN), BURREN ENERGY (U.K., Oil & Gas, BUR.LN), ERAMET (France, Basic Resources, 13175.FR), EXPRO GRP (U.K., Oil & Gas, EXR.LN), IG GROUP HOLDINGS (U.K., Financial Services, IGG.LN), KBC ANCORA (Belgium, Banks, KBCA.BT), KONECRANES OYJ (Finland, Industrial Goods & Services, KCR1V.HE), MARFIN INVESTMENT GROUP (Greece, Financial Services, MIG.AT), PT MULTIMEDIA R (Portugal, Media, PTM.LB), SCHIBSTED GRUPPEN (Norway, Media, SCH.OS), TANDBERG (Norway, Technology, TAA.OS), TOGNUM AG (Germany, Industrial Goods & Services, TGM.XE), UBISOFT ENTM. (France, Personal & Household Goods, 5447.FR) and WS ATKINS (U.K., Industrial Goods & Services, ATK.LN).

The sector classification for the Dow Jones STOXX 600 component AMEC (U.K., Industrial Goods & Services, AMEC.LN) will change to Oil & Gas.

As of October 31 2007, the total free-float market capitalization of the reconstituted Dow Jones STOXX 600 increased to EUR 7,39 trillion from EUR 7,23 trillion and of the reconstituted Dow Jones STOXX Total Market Index to EUR 7,97 trillion from EUR 7,82 trillion.

The composition of the Dow Jones STOXX Football Index will remain unchanged. The total free-float market capitalization of the Dow Jones STOXX Football Index decreased to EUR 940.19 million from EUR 1,183.74 million.

The total free-float market capitalization of the reconstituted Dow Jones STOXX Global 1800 index increased to EUR 21,70 trillion from EUR 21,54 trillion, and of the reconstituted Dow Jones STOXX EU Enlarged Total Market Index to EUR 132.15 billion from EUR 129.66 billion.

Changes are being announced today after the conclusion of a regular quarterly component review. The adjusted component weightings, including the number of shares and free-float factors, will be announced on December 19, 2007 after close of European markets. All changes will be effective on December 24, 2007.
