As previously announced, Hf. Eimskipafelag Islands mandated ABN AMRO Bank N.V. (“ABN AMRO”) to arrange and underwrite a EUR 300 million five year Revolving Credit Facilty (the “Facility”). ABN AMRO is pleased announce that this facility has now been launched. The Facility will be used to partially refinance existing borrowings, general corporate purposes and support further growth. Eimskip will continue to strengthen its intensive transportation network and cold stores network which is in line with Eimskip's vision to become a key international player in temperature-controlled cargo globally. The Facility will provide Eimskip with financial flexibility over the medium term as the Company grows its business in the transportation and logistics sector. The margin is tied to the Company's financial leverage and ranges between 125 and 225 basis points. Eimskip was first established in Iceland in 1914, being the first shipping line in the country.
