Vilkyskiu pienine is preparing an application to be accepted to the Main List on Vilnius Stock Exchange


The main shareholders of Vilkyskiu pienine has successfully completed the sale
additional shares for minority investors and is considering applying to the
Vilnius Stock Exchange to be accepted to the Main List on Vilnius Stock
Exchange this week. In the beginning of November in an auction 1.1% of stock
was sold representing 102 872 shares. During following two weeks another 1.97%
were sold, representing 184 057 shares. In total 25.10% of shares were
distributed on the Vilnius Stock Exchange. 

“A significant part of shares were sold during the dominant pessimistic mood on
the stock market, which only confirms that investors believe in the Vilkyskiu
pienine. We have achieved the requirements to be accepted to the Main List
faster than we have planned”, - commented Karolis Rukas, Head of Corporate
Finance at Orion Securities 

During the sale process the shares sold belong to Gabriele Bertasiute. They
were bought by Lithuanian and foreign investors. In September 2007 with the
target to diversify the structure of shareholders 11.72% of Vilkyskiu pienine
were sold to foreign investors. 

One of the most advanced cheese production dairies in Lithuania AB Vilkyskiu
pienine recorded revenue during the 9 months of 2007 of 99.4 mln. LTL (28.8
mln. EUR) or 27.3% higher compared to the same period last year. Profit before
tax amounted to 9.97 mln. LTL (2.89 mln. EUR) or 3.5 times greater compared to
the 9 months of 2006. Net profit landed at 8.1 mln. LTL (2.3 mln. EUR) or 4
times greater compared to the 9 months of 2006. 

As a result of an increase in revenue and profits, which has beaten previous
profit and revenue forecasts for 2007, the company has reviewed and updated its
forecasts. It is now estimated, that 2007 consolidated revenue should reach 140
mln LTL (40.5 mln EUR), with net profit amounting to 10.6 mln LTL (3.1 mln.
EUR). 

AB Vilkyskiu pienine shares are currently listed on Vilnius Stock Exchange
Secondary List. During October 2007, AB Vilkyskiu pienine became the first
Lithuanian company, which shares are exposed to market making on Vilnius Stock
Exchange.
