Kratos Defense & Security Solutions Awarded Path Diversity Project From Defense Logistics Agency Valued At $2.7 Million


SAN DIEGO, Nov. 29, 2007 (PRIME NEWSWIRE) -- Kratos Defense & Security Solutions, Inc. (Nasdaq:KTOS) (formerly Wireless Facilities, Inc.), a leading national defense and security solutions provider, announced today that it has been awarded a contract from the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) as part of the Path Diversity project to enhance redundant communications around twelve strategic locations, with the ultimate objective of providing 100 percent connectivity with no down time. The project, valued at approximately $2.7 million with a potential $3 million follow-on task order, began in October of 2007 and is expected to be completed by September of 2008.
